    About Jordan Ogbonna

    Bio

Jordan (Ogemdi) Ogbonna is a native son of the DC–Maryland–Virginia region, born to Nigerian immigrants in the late ’90s. It was here he inherited a sense of civil duty and developed an early belief in the possibilities of digital modernization. He spent his formative years studying how technical, political, and economic forces shape the built environment. Jordan’s career has taken him through infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, and capital program delivery, giving him a grounded understanding of how large systems actually work. He’s navigated complex stakeholder environments and optimized assets across planning, financing, delivery, and operations. His focus is helping organizations build resilient infrastructure and forward-looking programs that deliver real public value and long-term economic benefit. Ultimately Jordan seeks to leave environments more resilient than when he found them, smoothing the path for the next generation of servant leaders.

As a Washington–Baltimore based project manager and strategist he specializes in the full lifecycle of civic, educational, and mixed-use developments. With experience at Brailsford & Dunlavey, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation, and the City of Bridges Community Land Trust, he has led feasibility studies, financial modeling, site selection, RFIs, submittals, and O&M closeouts for projects ranging from commercial and residential development to campuses and athletic fields to highly technical facilities. His work blends urban planning, real estate development, and operations, translating regulatory, architectural, and engineering inputs into predictable outcomes for institutions navigating complex permitting, financing, and community-impact requirements.

He operates at the intersection of physical and digital infrastructure, integrating tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, P6, AutoCAD, and emerging AI workflows to improve project delivery and institutional decision-making. Jordan’s background in open-data quality assurance, population-forecast analysis, revitalization tax-credit modeling, and community-development strategy gives him a broader lens than the average PM—positioning him for roles in smart infrastructure, capital planning, civic tech, fintech-adjacent analytics, or government modernization. His career focus is on building resilient, accessible, and future-ready systems for cities, campuses, and public institutions. Technical jargon aside, I strive to use my technical background to improve the way community-based programs operate today and tomorrow.
